Jarvis Appeals to the Ninth Circuit

Jarvis Jay Masters’ fight for justice continues. We are excited to share that Jarvis has appealed his case to the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Jarvis will now have his case reviewed through the federal appeals system, representing another major milestone in his journey to secure the exoneration and freedom he has long deserved.

For Jarvis – and for many of us – this journey has been a long and difficult one. And while it is far from over, this appeal before the Ninth Circuit Court renews our battle, our hopes, and our determination to continue our fight. After more than 35 years of imprisonment for a crime which he did not commit, we are seeing further progress toward securing justice for Jarvis.

Jarvis’ legal team will advance his appeal and underscore the substantial evidence of his innocence, in addition to significant violations of his constitutional rights in his original trial. Jarvis continues to count on all of you and your support to move forward in the next chapter in this process, and he is tremendously thankful for your help and encouragement.
